11th February - International Day of Women and Girls in Science

On 11th February, we’re celebrating International Day of Women and Girls in Science and calling on everyone to smash stereotypes, defy gender biases and defeat discrimination that hold women and girls back in STEM fields. 

(STEM = Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths)





The purpose of the day is to achieve full and equal access to and participation in science for women and girls.
